Note:
- Your Wayground admin needs to integrate the Wayground LTI app with your Schoology application. For detailed instructions, read this article: Integrate Wayground with Schoology via LTI | For Administrators
- This feature is currently only accessible using the Google Chrome browser. Support for other browsers is not available at the moment.
- This feature is available for users with Wayground Schools & District Plans.
As a teacher, you can assign Wayground resources to your students on Schoology by using an easier-than-ever method with our LTI integration. Follow this simple guide to enhance your course content with engaging Wayground resources embedded in Schoology.

This feature is available for users with Wayground Schools & District Plans.
- Log in to your Schoology account and click on 'Courses' from the top navigation pane
- Select the course you want to assign a Wayground resource to
- Once the course page opens, click on the 'Add Materials' button
- Select the Wayground LTI app
- Upon selecting Wayground, you will be prompted to sign in to your Wayground account if you're logged out.
- Once you've signed in, select the Wayground resource you want to add to this assignment from the 'My Library' section or explore millions of resources from across Wayground from the 'Search' section
Note:
- The class roster on Wayground is synced to Wayground every time the teacher opens the Wayground LTI app from the Schoology course.
- When new students click on the Wayground assignment link in their Schoology course, they are automatically added to the Wayground class and can begin the Wayground session immediately.
- Linked sections in courses: For courses with multiple linked sections on Schoology, Wayground will sync the class roster for each section after at least one student from each section logs in to Wayground. Consequently, the entire class section roster will be synced.
- You can scroll to preview the selected resource or directly assign it. Then, select ‘Assign’ to assign it as homework or click on ‘Live Session’ to start it live
- The LTI resource link will now be added to your Schoology course page
If you want the resource to be graded or want to make any modifications to the assignment such as availability, due dates, or assignment title, click on the settings icon () next to the resource link, and select 'Edit'

Check (
)the 'Enable Grading' option to choose the appropriate points and grading category. This will ensure that the score from the Wayground session is scaled to the points you've selected and then synced to the grade book based on the relevant grading category.

You can also add or modify details like title, learning objectives, availability, or due dates — just like you do with any other Schoology assignment.

Once you're happy with the details, click on 'Save changes'.
And done! You have successfully assigned a Wayground resouce to a Schoology course! Your students can now participate in interactive Wayground sessions directly from their Schoology course page.
Once students complete the assignment, their grade will automatically sync to the Schoology course grade book. If you configure multiple attempts, the best grade will be synced to the grade book.
You can click on the resouce link on the Schoology course page to view the detailed report and insights.
