Integrate Clever SSO as a Teacher via the Clever Library

Wayground offers Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication via Clever, which enables students and teachers to access Wayground using their Clever login credentials. It offers a secure way to log into Wayground without remembering multiple IDs and passwords. 

In order to sign in with Clever SSO, the Wayground app must first be installed from the Clever Library by a teacher. This will enable Wayground to create accounts for the teacher and their students using information available on Clever. It will also add the Wayground app to the Clever Portal for the teacher and their students to access.

Adding the Wayground App to the Clever Portal

Here’s how a teacher can add the Wayground app to the Clever Portal from the Clever Library: 

1. Visit www.clever.com and select ‘Teacher or staff’ from the log-in drop-down menu 
2. Enter the username and password associated with the Clever teacher account and click on ‘Log in’
3. Click on ‘Library’ on the left navigation pane and search for Wayground in the search bar 
4. Click on ‘Install’ 
5. Review the message displayed requesting for permission to create Wayground accounts for the teacher and their students
6. From the drop-down menu, select a page or pages in which you would like to install Wayground 
7. Click on ‘Allow and continue’ 

A teacher account on Wayground will now be automatically created and will be populated with section and student data from Clever. Additionally, the Wayground app will be available on the Clever portal for the teacher and their students to access.
